When kids play Y-Sports, they develop more than skills—they develop character. We offer a variety of programs for youth, including team sports, clinics and martial arts. Instructors and coaches—often volunteers and including many parents—model fairness and hard work while emphasizing teamwork, cooperation, and developing good values in this non-competitive program. Our volunteer coaches recognize achievements large and small and understand that winning is not just about the score. By playing sports, kids and their families feel a sense of belonging that comes from a community gathering together to cheer on their team. Everyone plays, everyone wins!
The YMCA Youth Sports Programs offer a variety of sports opportunities for children ages 3 through 6th grade. Our sports program has 4 different leagues:
- Tots League (ages 3 & 4)
- Rookies League (ages 5 & 6) 1st & 2nd Grade League
- 3rd - 4th Grade League
- 5th - 6th Grade League
*Please go by child's grade first and then age to determine league.

YMCA Pre-Season Basketball Camp: Decmeber
- Registration begins Oct 19th and ends December 1st
- Camp starts Thursday, December 1st
- Located at the Jamerson YMCA
- Time 4:30pm - 5:30pm every Tuesday and Thursday for three weeks; ending Tuesday December 20th.
- Ages: 6 - 13 years old
Youth Basketball League
January - March
(ages 3yrs - 6th grade)
- Meet the Coach Day:Saturday January 21
- Registration starts October 14th & ends January 14th
- Season starts the week of January 28th & ends the week of March 3rd
- Cost $44 for members & $60 for programs participants

1st & 2nd Grade League: Games at JFHS
3rd - 4th Grade League: Games at JFHS
